Mesa Vista

Khatri International was retained by the Mesa Vista Home Owners Association that represents 267 unit owners in this project situated in San Juan Capistrano. The focus of our assignment was to develop a seismic retrofit program to repair these buildings for additional structural resistance against future earthquakes. Additionally, the project rests on a hillside with a long history of subsidence problems. We were charged with the task of planning an appropriate civil engineering and foundation solution to minimize the long term potential damage scenario and stabilize the buildings. This project engaged Khatri as Engineer of Record on both the Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering aspects.
